Welcome to Dr. C. K. Perrier & Associates
Established in 2017, Dr. C. K. Perrier & Associates is a Nova Scotia–based psychological clinic specializing in the assessment and treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and operational stress injuries.
Our team provides evidence-based, trauma-focused care to adults whose lives have been impacted by psychological injury, including veterans, actively serving Canadian Armed Forces members, RCMP personnel, first responders, and individuals exposed to critical incidents or violence.
Clinicians at our practice have advanced training in structured PTSD treatments, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR). Treatment is collaborative, practical, and focused on measurable outcomes such as improved sleep, reduced avoidance, decreased reactivity, and restoration of day-to-day functioning.
Our clinicians routinely work within referral pathways involving Veterans Affairs Canada, disability insurers, and physician networks.
In addition to trauma-focused treatment, we provide psychological assessment and diagnostic services to support treatment planning and recovery. Clinicians within the practice also provide specialized services in areas such as eating disorder assessment and treatment, as well as ADHD assessment and related services.
If you are seeking specialized care, we would welcome the opportunity to assist, please feel free to contact us.
